For the 3rd time this season, Kyle Busch finds himself in victory lane at Kansas Speedway by winning the Yellow Transportation 300, beating Matt Kenseth by .085 of a second.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 2008 Schedule Announced

The 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule was announced today, a 36-race slate that kicks off with the 50th running of the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 17 at Daytona International Speedway. The 2008 season also marks NASCAR’s 60th year as stock car racing’s longest operating sanctioning body.

 
With Record-Breaking Year, Second Annual NASCAR Foundation Blood And Marrow Drive Has Potential To Save 11,000 Lives

The results are in, and NASCAR fans rolled up their sleeves in record numbers. The Second Annual NASCAR Foundation Blood and Marrow Drive has had a record-breaking year, collecting 3,410 pints of blood and adding over 1,000 volunteers to the National Marrow Donor Program Registry. The donations from this year’s drive have the potential to save over 11,000 lives.
